General Description
:
Hotel meliton is a whitewashed greek villa-style complex set in gardens and located one kilometre from the beach, two kilometres from tholos resort centre. The hotel has 40 guestrooms, all of which possess a bright, simple decor with white walls and dark wood furnishings. Rooms open out on to balconies, and offer air conditioning (fee), direct-dial phones with free local calls, televisions (fee), and bathrooms with showers. The all-inclusive rate plan incorporates all meals, snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the price of the room. Guests can relax on sun beds by the outdoor swimming pool and enjoy table tennis, darts and video games in the hotel, with movies and sports shown on the big screen tv. The restaurant serves greek specialties and international dishes buffet style with al fresco dining on the terrace, and there is also a poolside bar for drinks and snacks. Activities are organised day and night by the professional pastime team, including aqua gym, aerobics, mini soccer, quizzes, and pool races, with traditional greek nights a regular feature in the evening line-up. Guests can also explore the surrounding region on mountain bikes, play mini golf, or practise their serve on the tennis courts. A range of water sports are also on offer including pedalos and canoes. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can offer currency exchange and persuade on local attractions, and babysitting can also be arranged. Guests can soak up the sun on the beach just single kilometre away, or hire a car and visit butterfly valley five kilometres away or explore the ancient city of kamiros ten kilometres away. The hotel is located six kilometres from rhodes airport.

This is a very good quality all inclusive property, in a lovely yet undiscovered district of rhodes (ep 02/08) the hotel is a greek whitewashed houses style intricate with nice gardens and a good sized swimming pool. Meliton is in the lovely village of tholos, about 20km from rhodes town and 800m from the beach. The valley of butterflies and antique kamiros are a within range of a short 15min drive.
