The la cite hotel is ideally situated amoungst its own private gardens and is just a short stroll to the square of lixouri which has an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and tavernas. Local life focuses around the town square and at the nearby harbour front there is a customary ferry service across to argostoli (the capital of kefalonia).
